Special Week was a Japanese Thoroughbred racehorse who was foaled in 1995. He was sired by Sunday Silence, who was also a highly successful racehorse and sire. Special Week had a successful racing career, winning multiple Group 1 races and earning over $10 million in prize money.

Special Week is best known for his victory in the 1998 Japan Cup, one of the most prestigious horse races in Japan. He also won the Yasuda Kinen, Takarazuka Kinen, and the Tenno Sho (Spring) during his career.

After retiring from racing, Special Week went on to have a successful career as a stallion, siring several top-class racehorses. He passed away in 2017 at the age of 22, but his legacy continues through his offspring who are still racing and winning at top levels.
